The Hydrodynamic DPF Cleaner HDC V24 is a product of our company
We proudly present to you the DPF filter cleaning machine, the Hydrodynamic DPF Cleaner HDC V24, which is a product of our company, fully manufactured in Niš, Republic of Serbia.
The Hydrodynamic DPF Cleaner HDC V24 is intended for
Cleaning DPF filters and catalytic converters of passenger and commercial vehicles meeting EURO 4, 5, and 6 standards.
The device applies chemical, hydrodynamic, and pneumatic cleaning methods
With this device, in just 60 minutes, the DPF filter is successfully cleaned and restored to a level of functional correctness, bringing it close to factory specifications, and the efficiency of this method is about 99%.
The device offers the ability to test the DPF filter
The device offers the ability to test the DPF filter before and after cleaning, and by measuring the differential pressure, you get a completely accurate confirmation of the cleaning result.
The Hydrodynamic DPF Cleaner HDC V24 creates a fluid pressure
The Hydrodynamic DPF Cleaner HDC V24 creates a fluid pressure (detergent solution and air) that evenly penetrates each channel of the DPF filter, performing flushing, pushing, and expelling all impurities.
The device offers the capability to dry the filter
After cleaning, the device provides the option to dry the filter, completing this complex process. The device is safe to use and does not damage the DPF filters. The universal adapters included in the kit allow more than 90% of existing DPF filters for passenger and commercial vehicles to be connected to the device.
The hydrodynamic method
The hydrodynamic method has far greater advantages compared to chemical, thermal, and ultrasonic methods.
What is important and worth emphasizing is
We are the manufacturers of this device, and you are provided with service both during and after the warranty period, which is often not the case with imported devices.
The device kit includes:
- HDC V24 device
- Several universal adapters
- Plug for DPF filters
- Additional work surface – a stainless steel tiered stand for mounting larger DPF filters
- Four securing straps for fixing the DPF filter during cleaning
- Differential pressure gauge, which can be connected to a phone or computer to print reports on pre- and post-cleaning tests.
If you already own any of the devices in the kit, or if they are not needed, the price of the device will be reduced accordingly.
Advantages of hydrodynamic DPF cleaning compared to other methods:
- Thermal method is one of the oldest methods and requires cutting the DPF casing, separating the catalyst, removing the filter, washing, heating it in ovens at temperatures from 600°C to 850°C (which can last up to 12 hours), blowing with compressed air, and then welding the casing back together. This method has many disadvantages, and due to the thermal stress on the materials the filter is made of, it often leads to the cracking of filter channels. It is practically unfeasible for filters meeting EURO 5 and EURO 6 standards.
- Pressure water washing partially removes soot deposits from the DPF channels, but stubborn soot that has adhered under the influence of high temperature and pressure still remains. This method also carries a high risk of damaging the filter’s structure, as water pressure can reach up to 100 bar.
- Catalytic additives “assist” in the case of partially clogged DPF filters. They are typically applied preventively or correctively, before initiating the auto-regeneration process on the vehicle. However, if the filter is more heavily clogged, satisfactory results cannot be expected, and it is necessary to remove and clean the DPF in detail.
- Ultrasonic method requires ideal immersion of the DPF filter in a solution of water and appropriate detergent without air pockets, as ultrasound does not propagate through air. The intricate system of channels inside the DPF filter makes it difficult for the solution to fully penetrate all parts of the filter, and multiple rotations and ultrasonic cleaning in different positions are required. The ultrasonic waves effectively clean the inside of the DPF filter, detaching soot from the filter, and a large part (about 60%) is removed from the filter itself. However, about 40% of the soot remains in the filter, and it is necessary to use pneumatic blowing to expel the remaining soot. Cleaning in multiple positions takes more time.
