Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is an essential component in modern diesel engines, designed to capture soot and particulate matter produced from the incomplete combustion of diesel fuel, particularly during urban driving. When a DPF filter becomes saturated with soot deposits, it leads to clogging, which results in reduced exhaust gas flow, increased pressure in the exhaust system, loss of engine power, and potential engine damage. This is especially problematic when the filter enters “SAFE” mode, limiting engine RPM.
Ultrasonic DPFcleaner
Ultrasonic DPFcleaner is a highly concentrated active ingredient solution, specifically developed for ultrasonic cleaning of DPF filters. The product is designed to allow maximum propagation of ultrasonic waves, ensuring effective cleaning of DPF filters made from composite materials, ceramics (such as silicon carbide), and metal fibers.
NSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Prepare the solution by diluting Ultrasonic DPFcleaner with deionized or demineralized water in a concentration of 2% to 5%.
- Pour the solution into an ultrasonic bath.
- Submerge the DPF filter to be cleaned into the ultrasonic bath.
- Heat the solution to a temperature between 40˚C and 60˚C and begin ultrasonic cleaning.
- Replace the solution once it becomes cloudy and repeat the process if necessary.
- Rinse the cleaned DPF filter thoroughly with water after the ultrasonic cleaning is completed.
WARNINGS
- Ultrasonic DPFcleaner is exclusively for ultrasonic cleaning of DPF filters that have been removed from vehicles. Do not pour it into the vehicle’s fuel tank or engine!
- If you are unsure whether the product is safe for the material being cleaned, test it on a small area first.
- Avoid contact with skin, mucous membranes, and eyes. The product may cause severe skin burns and eye damage.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Always wear protective gloves, clothing, goggles, and face protection when handling the product.
