UNIcleaner – for degreasing metal components and assemblies

Highly concentrated detergent for degreasing metal elements and assemblies (steel, brass, aluminum, etc.) after machining, when applying primer paints or coatings, or when protecting items during interoperation storage.

This product is designed for ultrasonic degreasing, immersion degreasing, or manual degreasing. No special equipment or workrooms are required for manual degreasing, so it can be used for preparing the surfaces of various constructions, machines, equipment, fences, gates, metal furniture, and other metal parts that are to be painted or plastisol coated.

Product Properties
Degreasing is performed using a diluted solution, which is prepared by diluting UNIcleaner with water.

UNIcleaner is a clear, alkaline liquid with a mild pleasant odor that foams considerably when diluted and used for degreasing.

The diluted solution is made by mixing UNIcleaner with cold or warm water. The working concentration depends on the application method and the degree of grease contamination (from 2% to 5%).

• Concentration of UNIcleaner: 2% to 5%
• pH of working solution: 12-13
• Temperature of working solution: 40-60˚C

When using UNIcleaner for degreasing, it is necessary to mechanically remove emulsified grease from the object’s surface, which means that degreasing cannot be done just by immersion and allowing the object to sit in the working solution.

Before the degreasing process, dust, dirt, and surface corrosion must be removed from the object’s surface.

Dust and coarse dirt are removed by blowing with compressed air, washing with a high-pressure water jet, or wiping with brushes or cloths.

After degreasing, it is necessary to rinse the object with water and then dry it (either by air drying at room temperature or using warm air at a temperature of 110˚C to 130˚C).

UNIcleaner is an alkaline product that does not contain NaOH, but it is still necessary to use prescribed protective equipment when handling it. The working solution for ultrasonic, immersion, or manual degreasing has a pH value of 12 to 13, so it is essential to protect your hands with gloves as it can degrease and irritate the skin.

UNIcleaner is packaged in plastic (PE or HDPE) containers. The product is non-flammable and does not require special storage conditions.
